I think I've seen it in every script.
If you're gonna swear - try this:
f*ck
sh*t
d*mn
h*ll
or, substitute the swear with something clean.
Reading ****** in the middle of your story can take the reader right out. And you don't want that.

yeah, i tried that with the words f*ck and sh*t. i was really irritated when i found that they actually censored words like he** and a**. it just makes it look like we're using far more offensive words anyway. what a bunch of ****-ing **** **** **** ****-ers.

my writing program doesnt seem to change my words...and i really dont care if someone has a problem with them. look at pulp fiction and the sopranos...those are some of the best things around and they cuss like **** sailors

I think you're missing my point.
I'm not saying don't swear. You can swear away for all I care. But for those of us posting screenplays on this site, when you swear, the entire word is censored, which leaves us, the readers, wondering what that word is. Sometimes, it's obvious. But sometimes it's not.
So either choose a clean word, or, when writing the swear word, substitute the f*cking vowel with a f*cking asterisk.
The success of Pulp Fiction and Sopranos is not due to offensive language. It's their original sense of humor in the face of hostile situations.
